These workshops are "Play with a Purpose".
Michele Greenwood Bettinger has been studying and teaching improv since 1989. She performed character based improv for Walt Disney World for over 7 years and in the Pacific Northwest has taught improv for the City of Lynnwood and the Renton Summer Teen Musical program.
In addition, she has facilitated IMPROV FOR NON-ACTORS workshops for the City of Renton; for Renton Civic Theatre and has led team-building ice breakers for Champions Centre, Bellevue.
Her workshops are specifically tailored to your group's needs and, if you like, each workshop can be preceded by Michele observing your team in action and then consulting privately with the leadership team to make certain that goals are met.
Formerly a Corporate Trainer, Leadership coach and facilitator at Wizards of the Coast (a division of Hasbro Games) Michele understands the corporate environment and the challenges faced therein and applies them to her workshops.
In addition, she has tailored the improv games in her workshops to enhance understanding of personality and relationships. She is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and People Skills/Behavior Styles (Effectiveness institute).

Active listening is probably the culprit. This fun and fast-paced worship is designed to teach the necessary skills to develop the active listening "muscle". The fact is, many people don't listen to understand, but rather listen to have their "turn". This causes discord, confusion and misunderstanding.

Are you tired of the same-old same-old icebreakers? Michele considers ice-breaking serious play and takes to heart Plato's quote: "You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation."
TEAM BUILDING FOR UNDERSTANDING - 4 hours.

This workshop is designed for teams who are newly formed or have gone through recent changes or upheavals. Exercises have been designed to increase empathy and understanding and to identify each team member's strengths.
CONSULTATION
$250/hour
Michele will come observe your team in action before the workshop to watch the current interaction and/or meet with leadership to clearly define goals and expected results of the workshop.
